Privacy policy
How MNA COURIERS LIMITED handles personal information collected through this website and in the course of courier work.
Notice: [TO CONFIRM] This policy is a working framework prepared for the launch of this website. It requires review by a qualified legal adviser — and completion of the marked items — before the site goes live. It should not be relied upon as legal compliance until that review is complete.
Who we are
MNA COURIERS LIMITED (company number 16532799), registered at 65 Hemmons Road, Manchester, England, M12 5ST, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website (mnacouriers.co.uk) and in the operation of our courier services. Contact for data matters: mujahid@mnacouriers.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
Enquiry and booking data. When you submit an enquiry form we receive the details you enter: name, contact details, collection and delivery addresses, and the description of your consignment. We use this to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, and — if you book — to perform the contract of carriage. Legal bases: steps prior to a contract, and performance of a contract.
Operational records. Completed jobs generate records — proofs of delivery, signatory names, timings, condition photographs where taken. We keep these to evidence performance, resolve disputes and meet legitimate business and insurance requirements. Legal basis: legitimate interests and, where applicable, legal obligation.
Correspondence. Emails and messages you send us are retained as a record of our dealings.
Website technical data. This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operation of the service. [TO CONFIRM] — confirm the hosting provider's log retention and update this paragraph if analytics are added later.
Who data is shared with
Personal data is shared only as needed to run the service: with the driver performing your job (names, addresses, contact numbers for collection and delivery), with our email and hosting providers who process data on our behalf, and with insurers or advisers where a claim or dispute requires it. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Booking and job records are retained for as long as needed for accounting, insurance and legal purposes. [TO CONFIRM] — specific retention periods to be set at legal review.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise any of them, email mujahid@mnacouriers.co.uk. If you are unhappy with our handling of your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
This policy will be updated as the business and the law require; the current version is always the one published at this address.
